By using cloudprice you agree to these terms. They are short, written in plain English, and exist to make the reference-only nature of the site explicit.
All prices on this site are list prices on the snapshot date shown in the footer (currently 2026-06-09). Cloud providers change pricing without notice. You must verify the current rate on the provider's own pricing page before making any purchase, budgeting, procurement, or architectural decision. cloudprice gives no warranty that any displayed price is current or accurate at the time you view it.
1. Service description
cloudprice publishes a curated, hand-normalised snapshot of public on-demand cloud VM list prices across seven providers, plus head-to-head comparisons, a TCO calculator, and editorial content. The service is offered free of charge to the reader, supported by display advertising (Google AdSense).
2. Pricing accuracy & freshness
We aim for within 5% of the published list price on the snapshot date stated in the footer. Snapshots are refreshed periodically, not in real time. Specific limitations:
- List prices only. Reserved Instance / Savings Plan / Committed Use / Spot / Preemptible pricing is shown for indication and is approximate.
- One representative region per instance. Per-region price variance for the hyperscalers can exceed 20%.
- Linux on-demand. Windows / SQL Server / per-vCPU OS-licence add-ons are not modelled.
- Discount programmes, free credits, Enterprise Discount Programs, and committed-spend deals are explicitly out of scope.
Always verify on the provider's own pricing page before purchase. cloudprice accepts no liability for procurement decisions made based on stale, normalised, or inaccurate data displayed here.
3. No affiliation, fair use of trademarks
cloudprice is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or otherwise connected to AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Hetzner, DigitalOcean, Vultr, Linode, or Akamai. All provider names, logos, and trademarks are the property of their respective owners and used here for identification purposes only under fair-use / nominative-use principles.
4. Advertising disclosure
This site participates in Google AdSense to fund hosting and editorial work. AdSense slots are clearly visible (boxed and labelled) and never appear inline with comparison data in a way that could be mistaken for editorial content. We do not currently receive affiliate commissions on outbound “Buy” links to providers; if that changes the change will be disclosed here.
5. Fair use of the data
You are free to read, share, link to, and quote individual data points from cloudprice in your own writing, presentations, or internal documents. Wholesale scraping of the comparison table for republication on competing sites is not permitted. The underlying snapshot is published as a public reference, not as a redistributable dataset. 6. Outbound links
“Buy” links on the comparison table direct you to the relevant provider's pricing or purchase page. cloudprice does not control the destination pages and is not responsible for their content, prices, terms, or availability.
7. No warranty
cloudprice is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including (without limitation) warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement, and availability.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither the operator nor any contributor shall be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages — including without limitation lost profits, lost savings, business interruption, or procurement decisions taken in reliance on the data — arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, cloudprice.
9. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the operator and contributors from any claim arising out of your misuse of the site, your breach of these terms, or your violation of any third-party right.
10. Changes
These terms may be updated to reflect changes to the site, the law, or business practice. Material changes will be flagged on the home page for 14 days. The “Last updated” line below reflects the most recent revision.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Italy. Any dispute that cannot be resolved by good-faith negotiation will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Milan, Italy.
