Cookies

Cookie policy.

This page explains what cookies and similar storage technologies cloudprice uses, why, and how you can change your choices at any time.

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file that a site (first-party) or a service the site embeds (third-party) stores on your device so it can be read on a later visit. Browsers also support similar mechanisms — localStorage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB — which we group together as “similar technologies”.

Cookies cloudprice sets itself

Name Storage Purpose Lifetime
cp-theme localStorage Remember your light/dark theme choice. Until you clear it.

That's the entire list of first-party storage cloudprice uses. No tracking ID. No personalisation profile. No analytics. No consent needed for this one — it is strictly necessary to honour your theme preference.

Cookies set by third parties (Google AdSense + Analytics)

cloudprice is funded by Google AdSense and instrumented with Google Analytics 4. When the Consent Management Platform banner is shown (EEA / UK / Switzerland) these cookies are set only if you accept. Outside those regions Google's defaults apply unless you opt out.

Cookie / ID Set by Purpose Lifetime
_ga, _ga_* Google Analytics 4 Aggregate, anonymised page-view counts. IP anonymisation enabled. Up to 2 years
__gads, __gpi, __eoi Google AdSense Ad serving, frequency capping, fraud prevention. Up to 13 months
IDE, NID, ANID DoubleClick / Google Ad personalisation (only with consent). Up to 13 months
FPID, FPLC Google Tag First-party identifier when server-side tagging is enabled. Up to 2 years

Consent & how to change your mind

cloudprice uses a Google-certified Consent Management Platform with Google Consent Mode v2. Until you accept the banner non-essential cookies are blocked and AdSense runs in non-personalised mode.

To change your choices later:

  • Click the “Manage cookies” control in the consent banner (reopens automatically once per session if you scroll near the footer).
  • Or clear cookies for the domain in your browser settings and reload the site — the banner will re-appear.
  • Or opt out of personalised ads globally at adssettings.google.com.
  • Or disable Google Analytics globally with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Do Not Track / Global Privacy Control

cloudprice honours Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where supported by your browser. When GPC is on, ads default to non-personalised mode and analytics defaults to anonymous aggregate counts, regardless of region.
